Notes + Ideas + Conclusions

From Branding to Experience

Logo development started by exploring 4 different paths. A couple of iterations were enough to choose the final direction.

A branded interface supporting a nailed interaction

During the first stage of the UX design, quick sketches were drawn on paper in order to define the key screens and the set of features and tools and their placement within the entire flow. After this handmade sketches and its analysis, the next stage was mainly developed on Sketch, designing a pixel perfect set of app pages. See below the final approved visual design that was applied over the whole user experience.

Almost ready to go on the streets

Here's the first industrial design approach and the suggested situation on the streets.

So the final test was on the road literally. All the neccesary elements for delivery, were deployed on the streets for final testing.

Some conclusions

First of all, I had the privilege of participating in a solution for an imminent problem in our cities.
As a design consultant, your voice sounds louder inside a company. An external view has a "clean" + "fresh" perspective to tackle a problem. That effect, gets empowered even more when the team and the founders, are confident and trust in your recommendations.
This project introduces innovation from different perspectives, so it demands up-to-date design approaches and cutting-edge knowledge. Imagining and creating present/futuristic designs was challenging. It was also very exciting to be part of a change that is working to introduce an enviromental technology.
